i was fortunate enough to have Miss Poorna Abeysiri, perform emergency trabeculectomy ops on both of my eyes within one week of each other, due to extremely high eye pressure in both eyes. Miss Abeysiri kindly came straight from her full day of work at king Georges hospital to Queens Hospital in the early evening as an emergency to operate twice, she has saved my eyesight. My eye pressure became extremely high in each eye within a very short amount of time, at the time of my first op my right eye pressure measured 57 the optic nerve could have broken at any moment, within days my left eye too became over 50 in pressure, risking the same. I cannot thank Miss Abeysiri enough for her wonderful work and efforts to save my sight. I received great care and would highly recommend her and her work, her dedication is commendable. i cannot thank her enough !

I have seen Miss Abeysiri on many occasions, mostly routine check ups but also in an emergency. On all occasions I have found Miss Abeysiri to be very thorough and informative, she takes time to listen me and answers any questions I may have honestly and concisely. From sitting in her clinics it is obvious she cares about all her patients. I trust Miss Abeysiri implicitly with my eye health and am thankful I am under her care. Thank you Miss Abeysiri for all that you do.:-)
